
Transactional Analysis Counselling Groups

This article describes the characteristics of Transactional Analysis counselling groups and identifies specific aspects that differentiate them from Transactional Analysis therapy groups. The author offers a definition of Transactional Analysis counselling and then focuses on the group setting and the group leader’s role. These reflections are based on experiences in which Transactional Analysis was used as a methodology for group counselling. A group experience with adolescents is provided as an example.
